I made this because I don't see many tutorials out there for GIMP that has to do with inking/layers. GIMP is a free photo manipulating program that is very close to Photoshop... but free! :D

When i made the new layers it covered up the original sketch, and i cant find the layers menu, only where you make new layers...

Do you know how to straighten a picture if it was scanned slightly crooked? I'm trying to line up the feet of a character with a line on a template and one foot is higher than the other...any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! :)
